"Ways to Reduce Maternal and Newborn Mortality"

15.08.2025

On August 11, a joint international theoretical and practical training course titled “Ways to Reduce Maternal and Newborn Mortality” kicked off at St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center. The course was jointly organized by the RA Ministry of Health, the National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology named after V.I. Kulakov, and St. Gregory the Illuminator MC. Protecting the lives of mothers and newborns is a moral obligation and a cornerstone for the stability of the healthcare system. The aim is to turn every childbirth into an opportunity rather than a risk, through the implementation of international experience and innovative approaches. St. Gregory the Illuminator MC will continue to remain actively involved in key sectoral initiatives, combining international expertise with local professional capacity for the sake of healthy motherhood and childhood.
