During the event held at "St. Gregory the Illuminator" Medical Center, the World Health Organization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office, UNICEF, and the United Nations Population Fund, once again emphasized the importance of protecting the health of women and children in Armenia.
This joint initiative was organized within the framework of World Health Day 2025, under the campaign theme “Healthy Start, Promising Future,” focusing on maternal and neonatal health as one of the key priorities in public health. Open discussions on topics such as breastfeeding, mental well-being, emotional support during pregnancy, and maternal care created a platform for dialogue, experience sharing, and inspiring speeches.
The aim of the event was to create a safe and supportive environment where the most pressing issues faced by pregnant and breastfeeding women in their daily lives were brought to light.
