September 17 is observed worldwide as World Patient Safety Day. This year, WHO’s theme was “Safe care for every newborn and every child,” under the slogan “Patient safety from the start.” St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center was the first in Armenia to join this important campaign.
Newborns and children are among the most vulnerable groups in the healthcare system, and unsafe care can have long-lasting and irreversible consequences for them.
The aim of the event was not only to raise public awareness but also to create a platform for cooperation between doctors, parents, NGOs, and educational institutions.
Every child deserves safe care. Let’s protect them together.
